Festival Of Fools 2011

11th Annual Festival of Fools The Winnipeg International Children’s Festival will hold its 11th annual Festival of Fools featuring zany entertainers, face painting and hands-on activities. This year’s Festival of Fools features daily half-hour workshops designed to exercise the creativity of young minds. Kids will learn to make their own crafts like paper bag puppets, fancy decorative capes, and funky jewelry. Magicians, jugglers, clowns and variety performers from across Canada will converge for the Festival of Fools, including BC’s The Underground Circus and Mike “Yes, I’m Clearly” Battie; Ontario’s The Silly People and Las Bendolas, and Quebec’s High Strung Aerial Dance. Other talent includes The Majake Show!, juggler Robin Chestnut – and perpetual crowd pleasers Gustavo the Impossibilist and The Bubble Guy.
