Manitoba Chamber Orchestra presents Jan Lisiecki & Roy Goodman MCO presents a pair of prodigies! When the extraordinary and talented young pianist Jan Lisiecki performs at this concert, it will be a couple of months before his 16th birthday. In just six years since his orchestral debut at the age of 9 , Lisiecki has appeared on stages the world over. How fitting that our guest conductor for the evening is Roy Goodman, who himself achieved international fame as a boy with King's College Choir as the soloist in Allegri's Miserere. For this concert, Goodman has programmed Chopin's first piano concerto, a work with which Lisiecki's name is already synonymous!
