WSO's An Evening in Vienna

Spending his most creative and successful years in the city, Mozart's Serenade No. 11 is a work for small ensemble featuring clarinet, horns, bassoons and oboes, first performed in Vienna in 1792. Part of a series of 13 symphonies for string orchestra, Felix Mendelssohn was only 12 years old when he wrote his Sinfonia No. 7.
